Savannah Sunsets

A savannah is a mixed woodland grassland ecosystem characterized by the trees being sufficiently widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. This means that a lot of sunlight actually reaches the ground, which paves the way for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This has been captured in this painting, showing dusk, a time to finish the last of your tasks and retire home. Brushes used are hard and soft pastels and oily blender.
