Continuing the "Emotions" series with this beautiful painting of mine depicting "Anticipation" and aptly titled "Dreaming of Spring". This is Lady Winter truly anticipating the arrival of warmer months. She awaits to be completely transformed, her hair yet the colors of winter, but her robes taking on little blossoms. Her expression longing for something good to follow and her surroundings mimicking her state of mind.
People generally anticipate or hope for something good, even when they are in not very good situations, and that's what keeps us all going :)
I always put a lot of thought into every painting of mine, because I truly believe art speaks and I do hope this painting encourages everyone to never give up anticipating :)
